The Challenge
- Digitise global compliance survey process through Deloitte CoreStream platform to increase efficiency, uniformity, ability to effectively remediate and ability to compare and contrast
- Customise and enhance survey content to include coverage for domains such as Corruption, Anti-trust, Boycott, Sanctions, etc.
- Clearly defined responses that can be analysed and used to generate risk scores and targeted, tailored remediation plans
- Recommend and track completion of action items that stem from survey responses to close out, including adequate legal consultation and review
The Solution
We supported the design and implementation of the Global Compliance Assessment Survey by:
- Understanding the current survey process and reviewing survey content with client stakeholders
- Designing workflows for survey responses and configuring automated email notification features for survey completion and ad hoc queries
- Configuring survey content with branching logic, response selections based on client’s input and risk weighting
- Deployed solution using form controls to enhance usability and efficiency (e.g. drop downs, limit fields for data entry, etc)
- Enhanced reporting capabilities based on survey responses, potential areas of risk and targeted remediation actions
The Outcome
Our solution has enabled the client to:
- Embed compliance throughout the organisation
- Encourage accountability throughout the organisation by reducing the reliance on legal personnel for compliance
- Track and report on the progress of the global compliance survey process and identify blockers
- Report on compliance in a uniform, structured way with all supporting evidence documented and stored in a central location
- Identify areas of potential risk to enable more targeted compliance remediation activity
