About Us

Established in 2006, CoreStream provides organisations with the technology and support to help them manage risk and compliance more efficiently and effectively.  Initially founded as a consultancy, CoreStream quickly identified the need for a solution that better addressed the needs and challenges their customers were facing.

The result is a highly intuitive and flexible platform that allows companies to better manage their risk and compliance.  With modules that can be deployed individually or as an integrated solution, the CoreStream Platform grows with the needs of each client and can be augmented with CoreStream’s bespoke development to solve the more unusual requirements that arise. The CoreStream Platform has been deployed across the BBC, NHS England, Great Western Railways, Morgan Sindall Group and First Utility to name a few.

Senior Leadership Team

Richard Eddolls

Head of Platforms

As Head of Platforms, Richard has overall responsibility for shaping the CoreStream Platform, maintaining flexibility and intuitive design whilst having a relentless focus on quality. Richard has been responsible for the CoreStream Platform since its inception in 2012.

Richard firmly believes that whilst problems may be complex, the most sophisticated solutions are the simplest.  To that end, CoreStream ensures that during pre-sales, through implementation and certainly when it comes to usability, our focus remains on keeping things simple for our clients. We are truly adding value when we simplify something that is inherently complex.

Richard is an ex Deloitte Consultant, having gained more than 14 years experience working on large scale technology projects including the roll out of the Customer Relationship Management system within BSkyB. Following on from this, Richard gained several years of relevant experience working on risk and compliance focused technology solutions, culminating in a Programme Management role responsible for forming a new compliance function within the BBC in response to the well publicised issues with votes, competitions and awards. As part of this role, Richard managed the design and implementation of a bespoke compliance system at the BBC to support interactivity compliance. Outside of work, Richard is a keen golfer, footballer, husband and father!

Matthew Eddolls

Head of Risk Change

As Head of Risk Change, Matt is responsible for growing CoreStream’s Change Management practice and manages its Digital Governance proposition. The foundation of Matt’s knowledge is 10 years of management consultancy experience gained with Deloitte and Accenture. During this time he focused on the design and implementation of business critical systems for investment banks including global roll-outs for Deutsche Bank, UBS, ABN AMRO, and RBS. A role of particular note was his appointment as the programme manager to oversee the merging of risk systems infrastructure during the RBS takeover of ABN AMRO.

In 2006 Matt co-founded CoreStream, initially with a focus on helping large financial services clients adapt their risk systems with the raft of new regulatory changes facing their industry. Matt is an established expert in Credit Risk, Credit Risk regulations, and in bank systems architecture.

In more recent years, having seen how easily technology programmes can result in large overspend, without necessarily delivering the intended business benefit, Matt has overseen the change of CoreStream’s focus towards the delivery of its own cost effective risk and compliance software solutions.

When not in the office or onsite with clients, Matt can be found trying to take the perfect photo, hurtling around a race track and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Sophie Lis

Head of Operations

As Head of Operations, Sophie is responsible for business process management, supplier management and marketing among other things.
Sophie’s specialism is Information Asset Management, with a particular focus on healthcare and local government.

With over 13 years experience across audit, consultancy, risk management and technical programme management, Sophie’s tenure with Deloitte exposed her to multiple industries including financial services, healthcare and local government. Whilst project managing high profile technology projects within global organisations she saw first hand the importance of considering an organisation’s culture and its people.

Sophie strongly believes that success is intrinsically linked to how you as an individual and as a business connect with people. How you enthuse and energise people, particularly in a change environment, really impacts how they respond to and adopt new ways of working. Out of the office Sophie can be found spending time with her two young daughters, catching up with friends and when time permits reading a good book or going for a run.
